Can't wait to have you in our humble spot!

Please note that we have two sittings and our tables are booked for 2 hours, if you would like to stay longer please leave us a note when booking. We are a small laid back spot and our tables are often shared.
You can find us hidden away above the Gin Bar, a perfect place to end or start your evening...

Please make sure you tick the T&C's to confirm your booking on the final page, and that you get a confirmation email!

For parties of eight and over we require a R50 per person deposit. After you have booked we will send you a link to make the payment. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

We are fully licenced, corkage is R100.

Dietaries:
We have rice noodles available for gluten free guests, as well as a number of starters.
We have one vegan ramen, and a number of vegan starters.
We use peanuts and nuts in our kitchen.

    Great meal, super tasty and well worth a visit, was able to talk a service animal which was easily accommodated and staff very helpful

    Great evening at Bodega! What a charming and uniquely vibrant space, with the most delicious food. Great vegetarian options as well! Will surely be back.

    What we ordered: Kaarage chicken Green things Miso Pork Ramen Tafel Beers cape port and tonic Overall, the portion sizes were generous and sufficient for two people. Few personal adjustments I’d make - green things, I’d skip the courgettes. It holds a lot of water and dilutes the delicious sauce the food is dressed in. Kaarage chicken- it’s perfect as is! Ramen- I’d prefer udon noodles. The noodles looked like 2 min Maggie noodles in the bowl. The egg also wasn’t jammy. The yolk was solid inside. The broth was tasty. Setting: Warm, inviting especially on a cold evening Service: We had two waitresses- one was very pleasant , informative and polite. The other waitress seemed abrupt and short. Which was quite jarring. . Overall, I give the experience 3.5. / 5

    Easily one of the best ramen cuisine places I’ve ever been to. I took my girlfriend there for date night and we loved everything about it from the food to the ambience. We ordered two of the small plates and shared a ramen bowl which was recommended by the waiter - loved the choice.
