    Beautiful location and ambience. Staff friendly but could be a little more attentive. Wines were excellent as to be expected here. In the heat though with the chocolate pairing it would make more sense to bring the chocolates out in two halves like the wine as ours had melted by the time the red wines were brought to us. Also why do you have to choose which tasting you want when you book online? Why not just a generic tasting?

    Only did a wine-tasting, at the Cellar Door. None of us realised this was not at the manor house - this can maybe be communicated more clearly. But we had a tremendous afternoon, what a nice setting- carefully looked after, the wine was great, the snack platter is really worth it, the water wasnt too expensive, and our waitress was very friendly and engaging. We also had a tasting of the Heritage Grande Syrah on the house which was amzing. Would love to be back soon

    I’m extremely disappointed with this venue. We booked and planned a wine and chocolate pairing for an important business discussion with VIP guests. Despite verifying the details in advance by email and speaking directly with the manager about seating and event requirements, nothing was prepared when we arrived. I ended up having to move tables and chairs myself to set up for our 20 person session. The service was also extremely slow, and I even had to pour the tastings because there was only one waiter who was already busy with other tables. Overall, the lack of coordination between the reservations team and the restaurant was unacceptable, and the absence of active management on the day was especially frustrating given the importance of the event. I will not use this venue again for professional engagements, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, professional setting.
