Welcome to BOSJES Kombuis, the contemporary bistro-style restaurant on a historic, working family farm. Kombuis, the Afrikaans word for “kitchen”, reflects the history and culinary traditions of the farm.

The modern design of high ceilings, glass walls and a deck for al fresco dining makes for the best spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A playground mimicking the Waaihoek mountains in the background welcomes little ones.

Take a stroll through the gardens to the Kapel and discover plenty more that BOSJES has to offer.

Please note, BOSJES is cashless. We also do not allow the supply of celebration cakes, nor do we permit photoshoots on the farm.

Just a couple of point. One of our party ordered the sole and the fish that arrived certainly wasn’t sole. When queried we were told it was Sea Bass… surely this should have conveyed when we were ordering? The wine list was a little restrictive. We like Chenin and you are in Chenin country. There were two Chenins on offer around R150 and then one at R460… there could have been an option in the middle

Beautiful spot for a day trip from Cape Town. Loved the chapel architecture, beautiful gardens and we had a delicious meal. Glad we made the trip.

Food was good but a lot more imagination can go into it. Beautiful view, space was amazing, so tranquil, very kid friendly. Staff were welcoming and attentive although a bit clumsy and slow. Would definitely recommend a visit if you haven't been already.

The pork belly meal we had was not great. Had a running tummy after. the waitress was not very friendly and concerned about us when we told her that the pork belly was not good

Had a lovely generous pork belly portion. For desert galato was fine but not the best. Had a table at an open window area creating a sense of sitting in nature. All in all a very good experience. Highly recommended. PS Did not enjoy the unisex toilets although it was clean
