Welcome to BOSJES Kombuis, the contemporary bistro-style restaurant on a historic, working family farm. Kombuis, the Afrikaans word for “kitchen”, reflects the history and culinary traditions of the farm.

The modern design of high ceilings, glass walls and a deck for al fresco dining makes for the best spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A playground mimicking the Waaihoek mountains in the background welcomes little ones.

Take a stroll through the gardens to the Kapel and discover plenty more that BOSJES has to offer.

Please note, BOSJES is cashless. We also do not allow the supply of celebration cakes, nor do we permit photoshoots on the farm.

    All 8 guests were disappointed. Lamb was tasty but tough, the fish was overcooked and the portion was very small. Mushroom curry had no “curry” and the portions were tiny. First time back in a few years since our previous disastrous lunch and nothing has improved. Service was great. Waitress was a star. The chef needs to up his game. The previous chef Chris sorely missed. Will not be back I’m afraid. The venue is magnificent.

    I absolutely love this place! It’s the perfect restaurant to visit in any kind of weather. The service was brilliant—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. An ideal spot for a relaxed Sunday afternoon lunch. This was my second visit, and it definitely won’t be the last!

    I had a great time there. When placing my order, I had not realised that I had made a slip of the tongue, and the “wrong order” arrived. I pointed out that I had received the wrong order. My partner corrected me retelling the series of events and pointed out that the error was really on my end. Although we tried to remedy the situation (all within just 2 minutes), we were informed that the order had already been discarded and the “correct” one was being prepared. I felt really bad. I apologised to no end and offered to pay for my mistake. My waitress was Heledine and she took it with stride. The manager was also very understanding and assured me the waitress would not be penalised considering the mistake was MINE. I was not billed for the first order. I drew many lessons from the day. But this is to express gratitude for how the staff handled it.
