Welcome to BOSJES Kombuis, the contemporary bistro-style restaurant on a historic, working family farm. Kombuis, the Afrikaans word for “kitchen”, reflects the history and culinary traditions of the farm.

The modern design of high ceilings, glass walls and a deck for al fresco dining makes for the best spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A playground mimicking the Waaihoek mountains in the background welcomes little ones.

Take a stroll through the gardens to the Kapel and discover plenty more that BOSJES has to offer.

Please note, BOSJES is cashless. We also do not allow the supply of celebration cakes, nor do we permit photoshoots on the farm.

    We had the bitterballen, dumplings, short rib, lamb and shared the Creme Brulee. Everything was delicious, generous and beautifully presented but the lamb itself was inedible as it was so tough and riddled with sinew. We were given a discount on the lamb and dessert dishes to make up for the lamb and we will definitely be back.

    Service was a bit slow . Food was good and few hiccups that were quickly rectified. Beautiful surroundings.

    We enjoyed a delicious anniversary lunch. Beautiful views and very comfortable seating. The food was outstanding! We didn’t longer as we’re leaving the valley before the storm hit but we can hardly wait to return and spend the entire afternoon at Bosjes.
