    The waiting staff are very friendly and the service is very good. So were the pizzas we had, delicious! It was a bit noisy with a few tables having young people, but they were just having a good time. Our main complaint is the price of the wine : you are on a wine farm and all the wine is over R350 per bottle, with some at R460 per bottle. This is ridiculous as they are all Meerendal wines, why not sell them at a normal price and sell more?

    Great visit - thank you - only downside was that the patio section where we were felt a little distant from the main vibe.

    Loved the casual relaxed vibe. No one needs to worry about laughing too loud or which fork to use when out dining with family and friends. Food overall was good. Guest did complain that the chips were on the oily side. Portions could be just a tad bigger were the steaks are concerned. Burgers - no complaints there.. Since it was a hectic busy day yesterday, service should get 5 star, however I did not get the drink i ordered . For my meal I ordered a steak with both veg and mash as sides, however it only arrived with the veg. When I pointed this out to the 2rd waitress she removed the whole dish and returned it with mash only. I waited and then eventually finished my meal without the veg. Thankfully my guest did not have the same experiences expect for 1 or 2 slight hiccups and for an extremely long wait and the wait for coffees and drinks were inexcusable. A couple of my guest were still waiting for coffess after most of the guest had left already. But they still get 4 star because it was busy and they handled their blunders graciously but never really rectified them either.
