    A beautiful cosy restaurant. Food was fabulous. Steak cooked to perfection. Service from Vince was friendly and attentive. My only criticism would be that there was very little marrow in the bone marrow starter.

    As a top end restaurant i think the use of linen napkins would add something to the status of the restaurant. I booked using dineplan as it was my wife & my 30th wedding anniversary and also a 21st anniversary of holidaying with our friends who we met in Cape Town in 2005 and the dineplan offered enhanced experience but it did not materialise - disappointing

    Celebrated our 22nd anniversary on Saturday and what a night to remember. Arrived to a beautiful red rose and catd for me and hubby but what was to follow was outstanding food, best onion rings in the world, friendliest of waiter and so knowledgeable....beautiful vibes and decor...steak a must as well as cheese cake...

    I recently had the pleasure… and occasional confusion… of dining at this establishment. Let me start with the highlight: the kids’ menu. Absolutely outstanding. If you ever wanted to feel deep, existential envy toward a small human eating better than you, this is your place. The dishes were simple, well-balanced, and genuinely delicious. I briefly considered ordering a second round “for my inner child.” Now, onto the main event: the meat. As someone who loves meat, I was excited. That excitement quickly turned into a sodium-induced out-of-body experience. The seasoning wasn’t just generous, it was… ambitious. Bold. Possibly a cry for help. Each bite felt like I was being personally introduced to every salt crystal in the Northern Hemisphere. “Un-eatable” feels harsh, but let’s just say my water glass worked harder than I did that evening. All in all, I suspect this restaurant is perfect for those who enjoy an elegant, slightly pretentious ambience and perhaps have a more… forgiving relationship with meat. As for me, I’ll be back when I’m ready to fully commit to the kids’ menu and whatever magic they’re working with that pork.
