    Perfect venue for a small function! Was a bit disappointed that, because we hired the River Room for a "private function" , guests were not allowed to order the special offer for the day. Besides that, everything was great.

    The bar service and waitress (Caitlin?) were very poor. Took over 15 minutes to get the first wine poured. Other drinks took another 10 minutes. Pizzas that were pre-ordered with 45 minutes lead time delivered 15 minutes late. Tables not cleared quickly (used glasses, bottles etc). I took the time afterwards to sit down with the waitress and give her constructive feedback. I feel she was chucked in the deep end with poor back up from Barman, Management and Kitchen. Overall service poor. For a large table of 12 guests. Thanks Mike Andrews
