Located within the Inanda Greens Office Park, overlooking a magnificent 9-hole golf course and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. This hidden gem called Café 28 opened its doors to patrons in 2016 and has been serving authentic Italian cuisine to its loyal customers ever since.

Known for its unique and quality ingredients, most of which are imported from Italy as well as the fresh organic produce grown in their very own garden has given Café 28 the reputation of serving the BEST pizza in Johannesburg by customers who have flooded social media platforms with praises.

The well-orchestrated menu created by the Maestro himself, Andrea Giromini, consists of an impressive range of sharing boards (taglieri), pizza’s, pasta and heavenly desserts. The menu caters for a variety of palates including many vegetarian options, as well as a frozen range which can be made in the comfort of your home.

    We had such a wonderful family lunch at Café 28 on Sunday! 🍕 Everything was outstanding, from the delicious food and beautiful atmosphere to the friendly, attentive service. The pizzas were absolutely fantastic, and the whole experience was relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Best pizza in Johannesburg and fantastic to have had the panna cotta which they were not making for a while because of some ingredient shortages. My only quibble with last night would be that they were not willing to serve tap water. Yes, we live in Joburg which has been having water issues, but if you can buy water to cook in the kitchen, which they supposedly are doing, then surely you can serve it? Small issue but bad form.

    A really nice first experience and will definitely visit again. Authentic Italian style pizzas different to the franchise style in Jozie. Prices above average.
