Located within the Inanda Greens Office Park, overlooking a magnificent 9-hole golf course and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. This hidden gem called Café 28 opened its doors to patrons in 2016 and has been serving authentic Italian cuisine to its loyal customers ever since.

Known for its unique and quality ingredients, most of which are imported from Italy as well as the fresh organic produce grown in their very own garden has given Café 28 the reputation of serving the BEST pizza in Johannesburg by customers who have flooded social media platforms with praises.

The well-orchestrated menu created by the Maestro himself, Andrea Giromini, consists of an impressive range of sharing boards (taglieri), pizza’s, pasta and heavenly desserts. The menu caters for a variety of palates including many vegetarian options, as well as a frozen range which can be made in the comfort of your home.

    The most expensive pizzas in town. And unfortunately the decor is very casual, not vey cosy

    After Alessio called me he explained that all the ingredients are fully imported which is why the value of the pizza is positioned at those rates

    Pizzas taste was good but very sloppy.. Not cooked properly

Our pizzas are made in the traditional Neapolitan style, which has a soft, light, and airy crust with a slightly wetter center compared to a typical South African or takeaway-style pizza. This is a characteristic of authentic Neapolitan pizza and is different from a crisp, fully firm base.     Hi thanks for the response... Having eaten from your restaurant before on multiple occasions... These pizzas were sloppy... This was first time I invited my whole family to your establishment.. I was thoughruly embarrassed... I don't think you should insinuate my knowledge of pizza to take aways... I know the difference... Especially the price.. I have no problem paying the premium for the product... But you need to deliver... You did not.. But I still paid

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An easy 5 stars! Cafe 28 serves the **best pizza I've ever had**. It has completely changed my expectations of what great pizza should taste like—I honestly don't think I'll be able to enjoy chain-store pizza again after this! The service was just as impressive. Anita looked after us exceptionally well and made us feel genuinely welcome. To top it off, the owner, Alessio, came over to greet us and have a chat, which added such a personal touch to the whole experience. Outstanding food, fantastic service, and a warm, authentic atmosphere. I can't recommend Cafe 28 highly enough. We'll definitely be back!

    It was lovely but I think I had over dressed for a Sunday setting, a cute pair of jeans and sandals would be perfect not heels for sure but everything was amazing. The food was absolutely out of this world.
