Located within the Inanda Greens Office Park, overlooking a magnificent 9-hole golf course and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. This hidden gem called Café 28 opened its doors to patrons in 2016 and has been serving authentic Italian cuisine to its loyal customers ever since.

Known for its unique and quality ingredients, most of which are imported from Italy as well as the fresh organic produce grown in their very own garden has given Café 28 the reputation of serving the BEST pizza in Johannesburg by customers who have flooded social media platforms with praises.

The well-orchestrated menu created by the Maestro himself, Andrea Giromini, consists of an impressive range of sharing boards (taglieri), pizza’s, pasta and heavenly desserts. The menu caters for a variety of palates including many vegetarian options, as well as a frozen range which can be made in the comfort of your home.

Monday–Thursday: 11.30am-7.30pm
Friday and Saturday: 11.30am-8.30pm

    Cafe 28 completely exceeded my expectations! We started with a lovely selection of antipasti to share, followed by the classic Margherita pizza — perfectly charred crust, fresh mozzarella, and just the right balance of flavors. Finished the meal with a delicious dessert that was the perfect way to end the night. Grazie to Alessio who made the whole experience even better with his attentiveness and warmth. He really went above and beyond gave us a tour of the pizza oven and showed us the ingredients that are imported from 🇮🇹 the Ichnusa beer 🍺 is delicious. Highly recommend Cafe 28 for anyone craving authentic Neapolitan pizza — we'll definitely be back! Theres also a golf course attached to the restaurant where you can play golf⛳️
