    We received a generous Dineplan voucher for my husbands 83 rd birthday from family in UAE. We waited to include our granddaughter and celebrate her end of Matric with lunch. I chose Café del Sol being close to home and with good reviews. We were impressed with the selection on the menu, our table on the Botanico terrace but found the waiters attitude rather disappointing. The food was beautifully presented on the plate. We found the Fritto Misto dry but the Mussels delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my Salmon carpaccio and salad but my husband was not enthusiastic about Oxtail in three balls!! On arrival I had explained we had a voucher. The Manager came to take a photo of the voucher off my phone. It came as a surprise to be presented with the bill and machine at the end. The entire voucher was redeemed despite there being a credit owed. I wait to hear further.

    Chairs were not comfortable for my wife who is a smaller person and her feet could not touch the ground. My wife says next she will bring her own foot cushion.
