    Cafe del Sol (anywhere) never fails to deliver an intimate and luxurious dining experience. Their dairy-free rendition of the porcini risotto was sublime. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, with the owner/manager doing the rounds throughout the evening to check in on patrons. Thank you for the lovely evening!

    I arranged a 1st date and wanted it to be something to impress and remember. From 1st contact with Ashley I explained my "game plan". She went outa her way to make the table view, setting, flowers and seating perfect. I asked the waiter (Joubert) not to overserve so that the date conversation could not be interrupted and flow. From starters, the best calamari and salad, to Gnocchi mains to shared gelatta deserts, kept us in a scene scripted from Italy direct. Wine flowed and a perfect evening was had. The staff graciously permitted to feel unrushed and well past closing hours greeted and wished us well. Amazing place and will go again. We must have left an impact, got a call from Ashley the following day to follow up and confirm how we enjoyed the evening.     I had a truly pleasant experience at Cafe del Sol with my partner. We both enjoyed all our meals especially the Amatriciana pasta and the chicken livers starter. I will definitely be visiting again. The only feedback I have is that the service wasn’t too great. I think our waitress had too many tables and took time to serve us. We expected to finish at 9pm after arriving at 7pm but we left after 10pm.
