Join us on our beachfront patio, or inside our beach cottage restaurant for a truly unique dining experience. We have arguably the best views Melkbosstrand has to offer and a menu to suit with a selection of seafood dishes that will surely win the attention of your taste buds even if you can't take your eyes off the view.

Since our humble beginning over twenty five years ago, we have been striving to create a remarkable atmosphere, service and menu that we constantly improving.

    Food was great and a good wine list too, even by the glass. Great views right on the beach. Service was a bit slow this time, but is normally really good. Don't try to mix and match here, their dishes are fixed so don't try to add something or change the linefish for something else. Still one of our favourite seafood restaurants though.

    This is my new best find...... everything was outstanding - could not fault them - a dream for all seafood lovers and hungry as portion sizes are very generous! Service was excellent & food unbelievable.......... 2 of us shared the Seafood Platter for 2 with Crayfish which was superb...... 12 prawns, 2 line fish - seared Tuna & Kingklip (choice of 4), fried calamari, mussels in a garlic sauce & a very good sized Crayfish, rice, potato chips & steamed seasonal veg - all cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. Another in our party had the Moroccan Line Fish with rice & veg, and this too was outstanding! The winelist is brilliant and all extremely well-priced. Dessert was their signature dish - can't explain all that it was, but it's sublime and an absolute must to end the meal!! And all this while sitting on the patio overlooking the sea on a perfect day in Melkbosstrand! The owner is hands-on and his team are well-trained and fantastic! Not sure who the Chef is, but deserves a star - the food is sublime and attention to detail is apparent...... he won't send anything out that he's not happy with or proud of!! Will certainly be back!!

    We done Cafe Orca for going beyond any expectations around making a table booking for 5 people available for my son Tristan when you were full and fir personally coming over and greeting us in our special celebration

    Cafe Orca never disappoints, always unquestionable quality, absolute value for money and the flavors. . Omw mouthwateringly dreamy. A Seafood must if you've never been. If you have been, you KNOW 😀

    Excellent food, ambiance, and service. Cafe Orca is one of my favorite restaurants in Cape Town. I had the Kingclip and it was seasoned with an exquisite sauce to be forever remembered. Great value for money. Will come back when I can.
