Cape Point Vineyards invites you to spend the afternoon enjoying a relaxed picnic at our vineyard accompanied by magnificent wines and breathtaking views.

Our Picnic set up includes picnic blankets and prism shaped pillows to be used during your stay: a perfect prop against which to recline and soak in our sea, mountain and vineyard views. Although we do have umbrellas – please remember a sun hat!

    I proposed on the jetty during our picnic at the dam. It was great. The service from staff was top notch. From booking to planning to execution they were engaged in communication with me to pull off the proposal I had planned and dreamed of. I highly recommend Cape Point Vineyard especially for their picnics. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The view from the dam is breathtaking. I rate it 10/10.

    Very nice and pretty location but the food / picknick wasn't good at all. No good quality of the food. would not recommend.

    My partner and I are so grateful for the chance to return to Cape Point Vineyard. They say the second time around gives you an even deeper appreciation of a place, and we couldn’t agree more. From the friendly welcome at the door by Thandi, to the wine tasting with Abbey, to the personal yet professional greeting from the Manager, Zuko, and the attentive service from our waiter Derrick—the hospitality was seamless and exceptional. We honestly felt like royalty! We had originally booked to sit at the Dam, but when we asked to move to the lawn, the team accommodated us with ease. A special thank you to Alonso for making that happen. The food was absolutely delicious, served in abundance, and both the vegetarian and standard options were outstanding. This was a magical experience and the perfect way to close off the last days of the Cape Town summer season. Thank you, Cape Point Vineyard,..you’ll definitely be seeing us again soon!
