The Cattle Baron Concept commenced in 1987. Eight years later it not only became a legend, but was also honored with the prestigious award for the Best Steakhouse in South Africa, followed by many other awards which is a testament to the great service, food and atmosphere that our valued customers have come to expect from the Cattle Baron Restaurants.

For more than two decades, Cattle Baron has been serving our loyal patrons "The finest cut meat grilled to perfection". The steaks are superb, the seafood is outstanding and the chicken dishes are definitely not to be overlooked. Oh, and don't forget about our delicious desserts we have on offer.

    We had guests with us and they were blown away with the menu choices and the quality of the food. A wonderful evening We did feel our waiter was missing at times, and service was a on the slow side, and he got some of the drinks order wrong.

    We enjoyed dinner as a group of friends enjoying the Monday night burger special! So delicious and of course great value for money. We enjoyed the privacy of being around the corner at the back but it did mean slightly less attentive service.

    Good place for a steak (or ribs). Very generous portions and no corckage charged for wine! Service was friendly and good but could have been a bit more attentive (wasn't bad and I suppose balancing being obtrusive with efficient). Recommended for hearty food (generous portions of fries) and value especially.
