Cattle Baron Grill and Bistro Stellenbosch is a family-run restaurant re-opened under new ownership in August 2023 by Michael & Susan Van Rooyen. Situated on the R44 opposite the Mooiberge Strawberry Farm, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the vineyards and sunsets. Relax and enjoy the view with a selection of hand-selected, local wines from the Cape Winelands. In addition to its warm ambiance, the separate patio area is ideal for the most memorable summer parties and events. The garden area offers a jungle gym for kids, while parents can relax at the picnic benches under umbrellas.

    Not the best ribs. Cattle Baron sets the standard but was under par on 2nd Sep 26. I'm sure this will neve rectified. Otherwise perfect venues, service and country atmosphere

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in Western Cape, the owners are amazing. the staff is amazing. the food is wonderful. my name is Cliff and my favorite Waitron name is Cliff. love it here.

    The best calamari, the best fillet steak, the best cheesecake and the service was so friendly and quick and management was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your great service and beautiful food.
