Why is Mr Chau called Chunky Chau? Because Mr Chau is not 'fat'.

‘Chunky’, on the other hand, can be used to refer to someone who is short and muscular. Being short and broad shouldered, he looks heavy. Unlike ‘fat’, ‘chunky’ does not have a negative connotation. In fact, according to some books on usage, native speakers sometimes use the word to indicate affection.

    Hi As usual, great food and Samuel fantastic Disappointed to see it so empty, despite being Father’s Day Wondered what the purpose of the R500 deposit was Not sure if it was meant to be deducted from the Bill? Ended up being a pricey (if you add the deposit in) dining experience considering we shared a starter and a dessert, besides each having a main course. Beer and soft drinks, so NO pricey wine or cocktails

    Sam was great from the time I made the reservations until we left as was Colleen that provided us with excellent service. The food was amazing.

    Superb restaurant, our first time there (made the booking based on reviews I found on various Facebook groups) and certainly not our last Sam (I prefer Samuel 🤣) is a great manager Food was varied, beautifully presented, exceptional quality, worth every cent Love the setting, outside green space (in the middle of Sandton’s concrete jungle) watching children play was so pleasant Easy parking and access Please 🙏🏻 think about designing a drinks menu (non alcoholic) which includes sugar free options other than Coke Zero (there is Coke Light, Coke Zero sugar zero caffeine) I will be singing your praises far and wide to all who will lend an ear, including my social media and Groups Thank you Samuel and team ❤️
