    Overall the ambience of Clay Cafe Illovo is excellent - good music, spacious yet cozy and offers great options to paint. While I do feel that a pre-added gratuity is important so that wait-staff can be rewarded appropriately in this type of setting - this does also requires wait-staff to be aptly attentive and proactive to justify such. We were served by Unathi and unfortunately did not even get an basic explanation of how the process works, and majority of the time we needed to search for him rather than him checking up on us and finding out if we had any further questions. Overall good idea for a Sunday lunch & paint but service can definitely be improved.

    Would highly recommend! I Love the clay cafe in illovo so much! The vibe is so awesome and it’s a great activity to do throughout every age group. I’ve been at Clay Cafe Illovo 3 times in the past month!! That’s how much I enjoyed it the first time round. I came to clay cafe Illovo for work, a date and with family and every time I went each person complimented how amazing their experience was!
