    We were there on Saturday, 02/05, and the service was slow; there was no water or sponges available for stencilling. I asked at least 4 times for water so we could start painting, and it arrived about 30 minutes later. When ordering cold drinks, we waited 15 minutes for something that comes in a can. I eventually asked the server that served us previously (Nandi), and she had the drinks at our table in less than 2 minutes. She is absolutely wonderful. I ordered a burger for my son with extra bacon and egg, and the burger came without it. She took it back and added the egg, and then we waited another 10-15 minutes for the bacon. Also, the extra garlic for my pizza did not arrive with the food. My son's food was cold by the time the bacon arrived. Our server had a large booking for a bridal shower, and I think it took away from her other tables. It was overall not a great experience this time around, where usually it's great.

    Hi Tarryn, Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I’m so sorry your experience on Saturday didn’t meet the standard you’re used to our Clay Café. Waiting that long just to get started with painting, and then again for drinks and food, isn’t acceptable, especially when you were there to relax and spend time with your son. You’re right, the bridal shower booking would have added pressure, but that shouldn’t have affected your table to that extent. We should have stepped in sooner to support the floor and make sure everything kept moving. I’m also really sorry about the back-and-forth with your son’s burger and the missing items. I can imagine how that disrupted your whole meal. On the positive side, thank you for mentioning Nandi. I’ll definitely pass that on to her. She’ll be really happy to hear it. We’re taking this seriously on our side and addressing it with the team so we can avoid a repeat of this. It’s not the experience we want anyone to have, especially a returning guest. We value your continued support, and would really appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back for the experience you know us for.
