    Extremely disappointing visit to Clay Cafe Paarl on 27 December. We waited 45 minutes just to be acknowledged, over an hour to place a food order, and then only half the tables were served. The food that did arrive was poor quality (oily chips, badly prepared burgers), and we were later told our pizzas had been served to other customers. When our session ended, no one attended to us and we waited over an hour just to get the bill. Raising this with the manager resulted in no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. What should have been a relaxed experience was frustrating and exhausting. Far below the standard of other Clay Cafe branches — we won’t be returning.

    What a wonderful experience! The service was excellent and my whole family enjoyed the painting experience. Will definitely be back!

    Good day out. Becoming pricey. Food average and slow. Waitress doing her best and friendly. Paints need cleaning and brushes too. Obviously busy weekend
