Choose from a vast array of unfired bisque and a wide selection of colourful paints to create crockery that is both personal and completely unique. Spend a leisurely day painting in a relaxed environment in our beautiful location with our friendly staff at hand to assist you with any painting techniques that you might wish to make use of.

To keep the creative juices flowing, we serve delicious coffee and are fully licensed with an exciting range of cocktails and wine in store. We have a scrumptious range of freshly baked cakes and treats as well as a light cafe menu available all day.

Halloween Paint Night

Get creative this Halloween at Clay Cafe Silver Lakes! Join us for a Halloween Paint Night on 31 October from 6–9pm, featuring a Sgraffito Halloween-inspired paint workshop. Tickets are R450 per person and include a plate to paint, a guided workshop, and a glass of house wine. Guests who come dressed up will receive a special treat, and kids under 12 eat free from the kids menu when painting. Gather your friends for a spooky night of creativity, great food, and Halloween fun at Clay Cafe Silver Lakes!

    Absolutely amazing, Clay Cafe Silverlakes is by far now one of my new favourite places. They are equipped with art supplies (paint, brushes, sharp pencils, proper stencils, educated staff, tape, erasers, dot liners, and more), you don't feel crapped or rushed, they look after you and are genuinely interested the artwork you do. You can be any skill and they treat you the same as all customers. 100% would recommend

    The kids burgers are very small. They loved the taste. The only issue is the size.

    I ordered a toasted sandwich which was very good. The other people in our group ordered pizza and a hamburger which were also delicious. Great, friendly service.
