Cnr Cafe is one of Jozis most popular restaurants. We are famous for our fresh and delicious food and our own house blend of coffee and home-made desserts are firm favourites with our customers. Cnr Cafe is a community gathering place that inspires conversation and quality time over great food. It is our intention that everyone who visits Cnr leaves feeling like a local.

The journey of Cnr Cafe began back in 2003. Greig Walker was just a waiter at Espresso at the time. He boldly started a business partnership as Chef Patron of Cnr Cafe. He opened the doors with no waiters and only a small 40 seater space. In those days, Greig was the chef, front of house and restaurant manager, head waiter and general everything. After 4 months, Cnr was able to buy itself 3 umbrellas and 3 round tables to create an outside area. Within a year, a few more tables were added and by 2007, after buying out his partners, Greig became the sole owner of Cnr Cafe.

    We had an awesome breakfast, all three plates of food looked lovely and tasted amazing. It's a fantastic restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

    The ambience was lovely and the setting very pleasant, which made for an enjoyable overall atmosphere. However, we found the food selection quite limited and the quality fairly average. We were also dining with a couple of elderly guests, and felt the service could have been more attentive and proactive in checking in on their needs. With a bit more variety on the menu and more attentive waitstaff, the experience could be significantly improved.
