    We enjoyed an early supper of delicious ultra fresh battered hake, much more than just “fish and chips”. The service was swift and efficient, and our dining experience was as usual excellent. Highly recommended.

    We have English roasts at Copper Kettle on Sunday lunchtimes in the pretty garden with views of the mountains. Last night we sampled dinner in the covered terrace and it was another hit. Our starters of smoked trout salad and walnut, feta and beetroot salad, were both delicious and an excellent opening to one of the chef's signature dishes - slow-cooked oxtail stew with a deeply satisfying source, soft mash and vegetables. We drank a bottle of Rainbow's End Mystical Corner beaujolais-style red blend which was the perfect accompaniment. All in all a lovely evening, away from busy Stellenbosch in the local village of Raiithby.

    Once again, Copper Kettle has exceeded our expectations. Our waiter, Azzi, was an absolute joy and perfectly attentive. The food was exceptional (as usual) and we will most definitely be back for more!!
