Our dining experience showcases and celebrates the exquisite charm, tastes and fragrance of the Garden Route, a region blessed with both picturesque vineyards and local organic farms. Crags Country Lodge Restaurant – invites you to indulge in a delicious a’ la carte menu that is updated daily, accompanied by friendly service, and stunning views of the Tsitsikamma and Outeniqua mountains. The menu is seasonal and under the guidance of our talented Head Chef, Alice Burnham-King.

The restaurant also has a Bar and Lounge with a fireplace area. With a selection of fine coffee and teas, and a great choice of wine, beers, spirits and cocktails at the chic bar, it’s ideal for pre-dinner drinks, with the sunset as your backdrop, or to finish off a delightful meal. Choose to relax at our outdoor boma or on the sunny terrace for some of the best views of the Crags on offer.

Crags Country Lodge Restaurant is a hidden treasure in the heart of the Crags, a gastronomic destination of excellence. Our restaurant offers a panoramic view of the scenic surroundings, a sophisticated atmosphere, and a tempting menu of exquisite dishes.

Our dishes are made with fresh and organic ingredients, some of them grown in our own garden, and reflect the seasonal abundance of the region. Our Sommelier James Burnham-King has chosen some of the finest wines from the world-renowned wine estates nearby, to match perfectly with your meal. Whether you join us for a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, you will have an unforgettable culinary experience in our cozy 30-seater restaurant.

Sunday Family Style

Bringing friends and family together, in a relaxed environment, sharing a selection of dishes together. Join us for our popular Sunday Family Style set menu, which changes weekly. A bread course with condiments, followed by the main course; a typical Sunday roast with two hot sides and two cold sides, ending off with a delectable dessert. Our menus change weekly, with a focus on local, seasonal, and healthy. We regret no infants and children under 14 years old. No BYOB. We embrace a cashless environment.

    Beautiful resturant and extremely friendly staff I left my phone at the resturant and the manager drive it back to me. Huge thanks. The starter and fire course was very good but the pudding was not to our liking But overall it is a beautiful place for a Sunday lunch. We would have preferred a choice other than pork and it would have been nice to perhaps have a choice of starter and pudding too. But perfect attention to detail. And we will go back

    Main and starter was exceptional, especially tje steak, cous-cpus end the simalina bread. The service was really great with hot water bottles for your lab on a cold night a great touch. The venue was also exceptional and the wine recomendation with the food really appreciated. The desert was a bit of a let down as the sponge cake hower big in size required a source to pair with the taste cake. In general one of the best meals and service we have had in a long time and i will recomend The Crags Country Lodge to anyone wanting an exceptional night out. Theuns Fourie
