Our dining experience showcases and celebrates the exquisite charm, tastes and fragrance of the Garden Route, a region blessed with both picturesque vineyards and local organic farms. Crags Country Lodge Restaurant – invites you to indulge in a delicious a’ la carte menu that is updated daily, accompanied by friendly service, and stunning views of the Tsitsikamma and Outeniqua mountains. The menu is seasonal and under the guidance of our talented Head Chef, Alice Burnham-King.

The restaurant also has a Bar and Lounge with a fireplace area. With a selection of fine coffee and teas, and a great choice of wine, beers, spirits and cocktails at the chic bar, it’s ideal for pre-dinner drinks, with the sunset as your backdrop, or to finish off a delightful meal. Choose to relax at our outdoor boma or on the sunny terrace for some of the best views of the Crags on offer.

Crags Country Lodge Restaurant is a hidden treasure in the heart of the Crags, a gastronomic destination of excellence. Our restaurant offers a panoramic view of the scenic surroundings, a sophisticated atmosphere, and a tempting menu of exquisite dishes.

Our dishes are made with fresh and organic ingredients, some of them grown in our own garden, and reflect the seasonal abundance of the region. Our Sommelier James Burnham-King has chosen some of the finest wines from the world-renowned wine estates nearby, to match perfectly with your meal. Whether you join us for a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, you will have an unforgettable culinary experience in our cozy 30-seater restaurant.

    We have stayed and eaten here a few times now and it is really a cut above the normal upmarket/fine dining restaurants in this area. I had the Chicken Ballotine and the Coconut Panna Cotta (that was to die for). Eating here again tonight - why go out!

    Beautiful settin. Arrived just before sunset. Stunning view looking West to the mountains. Service very attentive but not intrusive. Daily a la carte menu. excellent. Wine a little pricey but a good quality selection.
