Our dining experience showcases and celebrates the exquisite charm, tastes and fragrance of the Garden Route, a region blessed with both picturesque vineyards and local organic farms. Whether you choose to dine indoors or outdoors, you will be treated to a feast for the senses, as our chefs prepare dishes that highlight the freshness and diversity of the local produce. From succulent seafood to hearty meat dishes, from delicate salads to decadent desserts, our menu offers something for every palate and occasion.

Crags Country Lodge Restaurant – invites you to indulge in a delicious a’ la carte menu that is updated daily, accompanied by friendly service, and stunning views of the Tsitsikamma and Outeniqua mountains. The menu is seasonal and under the guidance of our talented Head Chef, Alice Burnham-King.

The restaurant also has a Bar and Lounge with a fireplace area. With a selection of fine coffee and teas, and a great choice of wine, beers, spirits and cocktails at the chic bar, it’s ideal for pre-dinner drinks, with the sunset as your backdrop, or to finish off a delightful meal. Choose to relax at our outdoor boma or on the sunny terrace for some of the best views of the Crags on offer.

Crags Country Lodge Restaurant is a hidden treasure in the heart of the Crags, a gastronomic destination of excellence. Our restaurant offers a panoramic view of the scenic surroundings, a sophisticated atmosphere, and a tempting menu of exquisite dishes.

Our dishes are made with fresh and organic ingredients, some of them grown in our own garden, and reflect the seasonal abundance of the region. Our Sommelier James Burnham-King has chosen some of the finest wines from the world-renowned wine estates nearby, to match perfectly with your meal. Whether you join us for a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, you will have an unforgettable culinary experience in our cozy 30-seater restaurant.

    I always enjoy visiting Crags Country Lodge, when your friendly staff walk out to greet you with a warm cloth to wipe your hands, when you walk into the beautiful dining room, with local blooms on the table, when you get given a complimentary drink, when the little platter of freshly baked rolls and herb butter & a paté arrive... Oh what a joy to know that every person is passionate about making your dining experience a memorable one. Thank you for always being consistent in providing the best service along with a delicious meal.

    Good morning and thank you and your staff for service excellence and the preparedness to go the extra mile. More than the beauty and magnificent views, the venue is very special, the food lovingly, tastefully prepared and presented (compliments to chef), but the friendliness of the staff, adds to ambience and sense of well being.     The friendly and efficient staff were quite outstanding with exceptional attention to detail. A lot of thought went into the set menu. The dishes we were served were of a really high standard. One of us was allergic to the small quail bones and we appreciated the chef checking up on us and offering an alternative. Thanks for a delightful evening.
