And because food and wine will never be parted, we offer a small menu to whet your appetite, with snacky bits like charcuterie, cheese – and whatever else catches our chef’s fancy that day. Look out for our prawn Po’Boy, pork pie or Chef Matt’s famous Croque Monsieur.

    We visited for the South China dim sum pop up. Food was amazing. Well priced. Lots of flavour. The Culture Bar wine list is super expensive which is a shame. I can imagine a lot of monies are tied up in wine stocks which explains the pricing. Hence the 3 stars for value Service was excellent. The South China were amazing & the Cukture Bar sommelier was excellent I scored 4 stars for ambience as I was sitting just inside the entrance to the Blue Room. There was a cold breeze coming up from the street , that I could have done without.

    What a superb Place for wine. Our Waiter was extraordinary and his Wineperformance was the best we had in Capetown.

    The location was almost empty! Not popular? The wine list was impressive but priced higher than expected for 150ml. Just not competitive. The. food lacked freshness (oysters) and depth of flavour. We left earlier than anticipated for snacks at home.

    Upon arrival, and we were seated, the service was a little too slow. Excellent choice of wines!
