    This is the 2nd time dining here. Joy, who was our waiter was really pleasant and attentive. There was a very large party adjacent to our table. It did make for a louder ambience but hardly the restaurants fault, we just spoke louder. I ordered the fillet on the bone and it was excellent. The sides were great too. Not sure if the whole roast onion was meant to be cold, but it was. The biggest let down though was the malva pudding. Had it not been for me entertaining a guest, I would have sent it back. It was very dry, burnt black at the bottom and completely bland. A sharp contrast to the previous time I ordered it. Had it not been for the ice cream it would have been difficult to eat at all. Not sure if the chef checked this dish before it went out but I sincerely doubt it. I happen to be going back again this coming week, but only for the meat this time.

    Lovely restaurant and great food. Only reason it didn’t have the ambiance was because we were sitting in the overflow area. The restaurant inside looked amazing and we will book in advance next time.
