Food was good, but I really wouldn’t recommend this for a sports event. There are only 3 TVs with a terrible, terrible picture quality, all on one side of the taproom. I had to crane my neck to watch. Service was also shocking, during the RWC final I think there were about 3 waiters serving about 150 people, our waiter told us multiple times he was waiting on 8 tables of 8 or more people, consequently the only way to get a drink was to go to the bar and order with the waiter when they were picking up another order. We were there for 6 hours and had about two drinks, eventually we kind of gave up and just asked the bartender to refill our water jug as that meant we didn’t have to find the waiter. The burgers were good, but I’m shocked at how underprepared they were for the RWC, especially when they advertise themselves as a sports bar.

For a Taproom of a Brewery, you would expect the prices of their own beer to be at a special discounted price compared to when you buy it at a restaurant. However there were no special prices. There are only 2 toilets and they are in poor quality. The Male Bathroom has hole punched into the door and the girls bathroom had the flushing mechanism hanging off the wall. We went to watch the Rugby World Cup final here, and they had 3 smaaaaaall 32 inch TVs to cater for about 80 people in a very large room. Could do with an upgrade. The food and service was good, but being so far out of town, there aren't many attracting factors to go out of your way come back here.
