Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

We haven't been there in a few years, but the restaurant is just as good as always. So is the wine.

From the moment we sat down and our waiter, William, introduced himself and served delicious warm bread to our reluctant departure, this lunch was perfect. Small, imaginative and most importantly, delicious small plate dishes. Beautifully presented and fantastic flavours. An absolute must if you are in the Durbanville area...along with the excellent wine-tasting experience, in a beautiful location, this is a great day out.

Second visit here, food very good but waiter was missing when it was bought to the table without a couple of things and also couldn’t get help with an additional wine order and so had to go in search of someone to help. Otherwise would recommend.
