    It is not correct to offer oysters on your breakfast menu and then not have them. Our overseas visitors were looking forward to them. Also, you had a table who were permitted to poor themselves about 20 to 25 champagne glasses so that there were none left for the remaining guests. We needed to negotiate with the manager to open another bottle. That should not be allowed. We specifically brought brought four international visitors for this special breakfast.

    The quality of food was good and what was presented, is what was advertised. The service for drinks and clearing of table between servings of crockery and cutlery was a bit slow and needed to be requested. Same applied to replacement cutlery. On the whole it was a good day end enjoyed. The facility is very good, and staff were friendly and helpful. overall, I would rate 7/10

    Too much movement and distractions for small space....number of waitresses available to cater was not enough or they simply concentrated .or prioritised tables

    Overall a great Christmas lunch with generous choices of dishes. From starters to mains to dessert this was a great value for money. The ambience was good but I think a better choice of "live music" would have been great. Overall, a great lunch and I would do it 3 times again.

    We paid R8,350 in advance for food only.Unfortunately, one person in our group was unable to attend due to an unforeseen family emergency. Despite this, when our drinks bill was presented, the R725 prepaid for the absent guest was neither deducted nor credited. When we queried this with staff, we were informed that nothing could be done and that the amount would be forfeited due to not providing 24 hours’ notice. While I understand standard cancellation policies, emergencies are by nature unpredictable and beyond one’s control. The guest in question did not attend and did not receive a meal, and we were disappointed by the lack of empathy or effort from staff to assist us in finding a fair resolution. This is not an experience we have encountered at other restaurants and does not reflect the level of professionalism we expected.As a paying customer, it seems unreasonable for a prepaid amount for a guest who did not attend and did not consume a meal to be forfeited entirely, particularly under these circumstances. We chose your restaurant expecting professionalism and great service.
