    My friend and I visited this past weekend and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We had reserved two seats at the bar for 6pm, but upon arrival, the hostess simply stared at us with no greeting or warmth. After informing her of our reservation, she pointed us toward the bar area with no further assistance. We politely asked if we could be moved to the main dining area if space became available, but this was completely dismissed. The bar area was cramped, even though there was open space by the sofas that would have been far more comfortable. Once seated, the service did not improve. Our waiter was inattentive and seemed overwhelmed, taking a long time just to bring us a drinks menu while focusing on other guests instead. We again asked to be informed if a table opened up in the main area, but there was no follow-up. What made the situation worse was seeing other guests being treated differently — a family was seated comfortably and then moved to the main dining area within minutes, while we remained in an overcrowded space. At one point, a group of three ladies were seated right next to us on the same couch area, which made the experience feel awkward and intrusive. The food was also extremely underwhelming, especially for the price. We ordered hearty meals — mash and oxtail, and lamb confit with mash — but neither dish was enjoyable. Everything was overly salty and unpleasant, to the point where we had to ask for Tabasco just to try and improve the taste. For a restaurant of this standard, the food quality did not meet expectations at all. We eventually raised our concerns with the manager regarding both the seating and the hostess’s treatment, and only then were we moved to the main dining area almost instantly — which was frustrating, as it showed this could have been handled much earlier. By that point, we were already annoyed and disappointed, so we chose not to stay for dessert. Overall, the experience lacked hospitality, attentiveness.

    I didn’t enjoy the food, it’s not worth the price. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was so mid. The drink had a lot of ice, it was a whiskey sour. It tasted like water. The service is fairly good and the ambiance is always amazing it was my second time at the restaurant. I was also disappointed in terms of food the last time I went to the restaurant.
