Mediterranean dining reimagined. Ethos; the characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as manifested in its attitudes and aspirations.

“For generations, the shores of the Mediterranean have been deeply alluring: Embedded in its story is not only the warmth of its spirit, but the romance of its tales and its people – the feeling of timelessness brought on by its ancient and iconic landscapes”.

Langoustine and prawn tortellini- pasta was thick and doughy, sent it back to the kitchen and came out a second time the same way. Definitely not worth R345. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and When I booked Mini told me we would get complimentary dessert but nothing of the sort. Manager is rude and arrogant.

Really excellent meal. Had tapas and starters. Can’t wait to return for mains. The menu makes it hard to choose. Wanted everything on it.

Second time at Ethos in under a week. Both times were very underwhelming. Tapas starters were decent. I think a lot of work needs to be done on the mains. I had the Tomahawk the first time which was tough and not really edible. I had Pork neck the second time which was not as advertised on the menu. This was a shame as Ethos has so much potential.

Felt very rushed, kitchen closed an hour earlier than communicated which rushed my entire meal. Mains came before starters were finished.
