Each fabled cocktail is a unique creation that went through countless iterations before being perfected. Like the fable it is based on, each drink unfolds in four parts over four seasons. With every new iteration comes new flavours and complexity, adding depth to the original and hinting at what’s to come.

    We booked a table for inside and when we got there they wanted to place us outside, so not sure why the booking didn't correspond. They then placed us upstairs. One of our drinks orders that was placed was wrong, but didn't want to complain. The drinks we ordered looked really nice (so makes for great photos and was well presented), but I do feel it is quite expensive (didn't feel like there was much alcohol in, not even for the big cocktail which is supposed to cater for two, and we had a few so might have skipped the Uber home). Have been to other cocktail bars where you get your money worth for an expensive cocktail. The tapas were amazing! We ordered twice. Prawns were overpriced (R150 for 5 very tiny prawns?), but the olives, chicken pops, sliders and flatbread was really nice and worth it. I would go again to try their burgers and to show my other friends, since it is an experience, but it is pricey for what you get, so won't be my go to for cocktails.
