    The ambience of fun and laughter on Tuesday quiz nights is my favourite time to visit Fancy Franks. Last night was no exception. I had such a lovely time testing my general knowledge and always learning something new with my best friend whilst enjoying a delicious meal. We had an absolute blast!

    Lower your expectations when you visit Fancy Frank's Somerset West. There is nothing fancy about it. The initial greeting at the door was impressive but that is where the good impression stopped. Food was just OK and definitely not value for money. Service was poor. Prepare to wait long and receive dirty glasses. If you are waiting for your waiter, it might be because he is sitting at an empty table playing on his phone (which happened in our case) or because they standing around, chatting and laughing with each other instead of keeping an eye on customers that might need something. Ambience is OK if you are looking for that 'bar vibe'. I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to an evening of great food and drinks. Can most definitely say I won't be back.
