    Our food took over 50 min to arrive, this was due to a member of staff injuring themselves… the manager rolled up his sleeves and stepped into the supply line and delivered our food. Full credit to him, only feedback was that it would have been worth informing clients but appreciate he had his hands full.. hope the member of staff is ok.

    Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time! We arrived not knowing that every Tuesday they have a quiz night at 7pm and it was great fun! Delicious food with lots to choose from, great service with friendly staff and overall experience was amazing. Will definitely be back

    We’ve been visiting fancy franks for many years and always enjoy our evenings there but I am struggling to see how they can justify the recent price hikes for food and drink - a 27.5% price hike on the hot chocolate alone! We’ve been disappointed for a while now by the ‘special’ gin&tonic price being advertised as one price for 2 x double gin and tonic and then being charged an additional R6 for a can of tonic to go with the special ‘gin and tonic’. The reprint of the menus since the almost 15% increase on the special price does not address this either - now being listed at R82 for the special but STILL being charged R6 for the additional tonic…I don’t understand how anyone can get the gin and tonic special for R82 rather than R88 and the staff couldn’t explain or help either! I have photos of the bill and the menu to show the discrepancy… Quiz prize has had NO increase in 4yrs compared to the multiple food price increases….and it felt like there were not many customers last night on what was a beautiful summer evening, I wonder what it will be like in the winter again this year… staff may eventually lose out in tips etc with what feels like crazy price increases. Love fancy franks - we really do, but struggling this time with what feels like outrageous price increases.
