Chimmichuri steak concept was great and flavours very enjoyable. Quality of the steak was pretty average - lots of unrendered fat and sinew. Seating also extremely cramped and uncomfortable.

really enjoyed food, disappointed that Sunday roast was sold out but really unimpressed with wet benches and the lack of staff interaction on this issue. Also was cold and staff took ages to get heater going and only served one table

We made a booking for motherw day and I mentioned my daughter so can we be seated nearby a play area. With it the first time being there they didn't care to make mention that wel be seated outside on wet damp soggy benches. My mom is arthritic and came from church in a cream coat, which needless to say had a dark black mark on it as did my dress. When asked if the waiter can bring her a pillow, after requesting it again, the extremely rude waiter said he's busy. 10min later he hands he a folded up piece of cardboard!!! Wow when they are benches inside with leather pillows on them. It was then made very clear we where treated differently as we where not "the regulars" My husband waited until his food was finished before he had to remind the waiter of his hot chocolate. The carvery seems to be popular so we went for that. You stand in such a long que while what looked like take aways containers where being filled by the servers. No communication is given of what to do. The lady serving the veg could barely even look at us. I honestly felt as if I was being an inconvenience to her being there. This is no way to feel welcomed to a restaurant or put me in the mood to enjoy this plate of food. When my mom in law asked for a slightly less bloody piece of beef from the cavery, she was completely ignored abs said it's all like this. Again... wow.. the service and attitude of the staff is enough to put you off. The cavery I enjoyed however. I have been to many buffets and carverys. I will say for R275 for a plate the quantity, and quality accompanied by unwelcoming staff is not at all worth the visit. After not even finishing our food, due to the very cold damp wet uncomfortable seating environment, we got the bill. The waiter doesn't even thank us, ask did we enjoy it? Absolutely nothing! I was taken a back. You got to spur and received much better service from staff for goodness sake. And the cherry on the cake was being charged R35 for a slice of cheese on the kiddies burger. Talk about a complete rip off. Definitely will never be back , nor will I ever recommend Foresters Arms to any family or friends travelling in and out of cpt or SA based on our first and only experience that ruined our Mothers Day

You guys were over-booked for Mother's day and it placed a strain on all your waiters. Different people kept on bringing the wrong orders to our tables [2 tables] the waiter that handed our table over to the new waiter did a bad job resulting in us being over charged. It was not our waiters fault
