Nestled at the foot of our majestic mountains, in the leafy suburb of Newlands, Cape Town, Foresters Arms Restaurant and Pub (fondly referred to by the locals as Forries), is one of the oldest pubs in South Africa and provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

    Absolutely 100% recommend Forries to anyone in Cape Town—visitors and locals alike! They handled our group of 20 with such ease and friendliness. The food was delicious, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere unbeatable. A perfect spot for a relaxed, memorable dinner.

    We went for the Sunday carvery - absolutely brilliant! So delicious, with trimmings to make it feel extra special. Had the loveliest 3 hour lunch with friends in the garden and just felt so relaxed.
