Nestled at the foot of our majestic mountains, in the leafy suburb of Newlands, Cape Town, Foresters Arms Restaurant and Pub (fondly referred to by the locals as Forries), is one of the oldest pubs in South Africa and provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

    Normally we have such good service. I think our waitress had too many tables. She was struggling to keep up. She was awesome and did apologise for how busy she was. The food was not as great as normal. The size of portions also seemed a bit odd between people who had ordered the same food. The food was cold unfortunately. The venue was lovely as always and everyone was so welcoming. It was sad that the food and our waitress was a bit over swamped.
