    My partner had the oxtail and said it was one of the best meals he has had in his life. Food was outstanding and our waiter Mac was phenomenal!

    Very good all round. Just marginally disappointed with caesar salad which had too many croutons simply thrown into an average dressing. No care taken into making this salad. The rest was very good!

    Loved the outside area at Franks watching the world go by! The staff gave us blankets which was a nice touch. Franschhoek is a beautiful part of the world. When the local musicians walked past and sung, I tipped them and they managed to sing a special Happy Birthday to my husband, got him up to dance and did an excellent job of embarrassing him. Food and service was great. Highly recommend.
