    It was somewhat difficult to enjoy lunch given that the Local children were singing African songs nonstop in the small courtyard next-door, and the management did not see fit to ask them to move along after a couple of songs, this went on for a solid 45 minutes before one of our guests had to go ask politely that they move along. Honestly, this should have been done without having to ask.

    We are so sorry that you had to experience this, but we have no control over street singers and vendors. We do not allow them onto our property as we do have that right, which we completely enforce. We are pleased you were happy with our food and service, but the street people are totally out of our control and we try not to engage in disagreements with them as I'm sure you know we would not like to risk retaliation from them. Again sorry that it spoiled the ambience of your evening/afternoon and hope you return to Franks Corner. BTW all the restaurants in and around the center of town experience the same annoyance.     I somewhat understand what you were saying but really your customers are more important and I think if you handle it properly after a couple of songs and maybe give them R20 or whatever they would understand that people are trying to have conversation and eat? Why do you say “retaliation“, if that is an issue then the authorities should deal with it. We are not tourists, we live here and I can tell you it was annoying to quite a few tables.
