    Poor location by the road, never saw the vineyards. Felt like a garden centre / pub carpark. Maybe our selection was poor ?

    The food at the Franschhoek Cellar was very scrumptuous the waiter Carin and the chef Karin truly made us feel at home and certainly created a joyess atmosphere. I had the pork belly which was prepared magnificiently and the portion of food is also great. The waterfountain outsie created a calming and relacing ambiance.

    The venue is lovely and the seating is very comfortable, we chose to sit at a window seat with the high back comfy chairs. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious with generous portions. My husband and I shared the bobotie spring rolls, then we shared a nachos which we both decided is the best we have ever tasted. We then shared a seafood tagliatelle which was very taste, just thought the sauce should have been a little thicker. These meals were all washed down with a few glasses of well chilled Franschhoek Cellar Rosé. We opted to take our cheesecake desert home as we were both very full. We will definitely return next time we are in Franschhoek.
