A Celebration of Asian Flavours

Inspired by the fast-paced energy of Japanese ramen bars, Geisha Wok & Noodle Bar first burst into life in 2005. When we opened our doors in Cape Town’s Mouille Point, our mission was clear — to create a unique way of eating, bringing the fresh, nourishing flavours of Asia to everyone who gathered around our communal benches. That was over 20 years ago. Two decades to sharpen our skills, refine our recipes, and welcome you — our guests — to join us on this journey, savouring everything our Asian-inspired experience has to offer.

And now, the journey continues. We’re still playing with spices, discovering fresh tastes, and sharing our love of bold, vibrant food with more and more of you each day at our store in St Francis Bay, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

About the Food

Created to ignite the senses, every dish we serve bursts with the mouth-watering flavours, fragrances, and spices of Asia’s most beloved cuisines. Fiery spices, aromatic sauces, and steaming broths bring the heat. Fresh, crisp vegetables deliver essential vitamins. Silky noodles and sticky rice provide comfort and fuel, while quality proteins — from tender meat and fresh fish to delicate tofu — sustain and satisfy. Every bite offers textures to crunch, snap, and slurp.

Whatever you choose, it’s always fresh — prepared by our chefs in the open kitchen and served the moment it’s ready, still steaming, at its very best. Just as we’ve done since day one.

Loved our meal, some things were on the high price wise. I would definitely offer regular edamame still in shell for starter and hot sake.

Lovely setting - completely empty when my wife and I went for dinner so it felt like a private dining experience. Food is good and the staff are lovely.

We thought the meals were very pricy and the meals extremely small. . The seating was uncomfortable because there was not support for one’s back. It is definitely not seating for a long stay. The restaurant was beautifully done with a feeling of cleanliness. The lounge waiting lounge was done nicely, cozy and comfortable. I think you can work on your portion sizes & pricing. The road to St Francis had too many pot holes which will discourage out of town visitors like us. I am happy we tested your restaurant. Elize,
