    All our dishes were delicious… hamburger & chips, grilled Hake & side butternut , prawn curry & chicken salad . I think maybe a slightly cheaper price for a glass of wine would go down well or cheaper corkage if you take along your own bottle. Thank you for a lovely New Year’s Day lunch , great to find a restaurant open in the 1st

    We had a truly delightful Christmas Day lunch at George’s Grill in Hyde Park. From the moment we walked in, the team made the day feel festive, relaxed, and genuinely joyful. Our waitress Princess was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed with everything from drinks to meals. The hosts Blessings, Demi, and Innocent were equally fantastic, welcoming us with warmth and making sure we felt looked after throughout our visit. What really elevated the atmosphere was the innovative Christmas head trimmings and hats worn by the staff. It added such a fun, creative touch to the day. They spread happiness not just through excellent service, but through their warm smiles and attentive presence, creating a festive spirit that felt completely authentic. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and generously portioned. Combined with the lively yet elegant ambience, it made for a perfect Christmas outing. Highly recommended — we left deliciously content, happy, and already planning our next visit.

    We each had steak - different sizes and types - and we both had the truffle and mushroom sauce which is just the best sauce we have tasted. Also excellent real chips, properly cooked and piping hot. Service is calm and efficient.
