Gigi Rooftop is a buzzing restaurant and bar located on the 6th floor of the Gorgeous George Hotel. The bar has everything from signature cocktails, to age-old classics, both being meticulously crafted by their in-house mixologists. The restaurant serves a take on modern classics, but with a focus on seasonality and sustainability, think casual cuisine but with a twist! They believe knowing where our food comes from is as important as the food itself, with attention being placed on local, ethically-sourced produce from artisanal cheese, pasture-reared beef to fully-traceable and line-caught fish. The vibe is infectious, join for lunch, stay for dinner, with live music and DJ’s almost every day of the week. GiGi Rooftop is a living room for the neighbourhood and you’re invited.

    Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food from starters to mains all the way through to dessert!! The service was fantastic, friendly and fun! The ambiance is super relaxed and we can’t wait to return. When I travel from the U.S. to CPT, I never miss the chance to meet up with friends and enjoy a wonderful meal at Gigi’s! Thanks!

    I was really surprised by good the food was. Usually the aesthetic is the main appeal of the restaurant but the food was absolutely fantastic. I was however disappointed that my reservation for the terrace was not available and I was moved to the inside seating especially because I made it well in advance.
