Gigi Rooftop is a buzzing restaurant and bar located on the 6th floor of the Gorgeous George Hotel. The bar has everything from signature cocktails, to age-old classics, both being meticulously crafted by their in-house mixologists. The restaurant serves a take on modern classics, but with a focus on seasonality and sustainability, think casual cuisine but with a twist! They believe knowing where our food comes from is as important as the food itself, with attention being placed on local, ethically-sourced produce from artisanal cheese, pasture-reared beef to fully-traceable and line-caught fish. The vibe is infectious, join for lunch, stay for dinner, with live music and DJ’s almost every day of the week. GiGi Rooftop is a living room for the neighbourhood and you’re invited.

    We had an amazing rooftop experience. Beautiful views, delicious cocktails, and good service. The atmosphere is stylish, relaxed, and perfect for a night out in Cape Town. Will definitely be back.

    We were a tad disappointed with the food. The dishes sound amazing but both the lamb shank which I had and the petite pousin which my daughter had was dry and overcooked. My son’s venison pasta was tasty enough but also on the dry side without much sauce

    Beautiful setting, good food, chilled vibe, drinks very overpriced though. You could cater more to locals.
