Gigi Rooftop is a buzzing restaurant and bar located on the 6th floor of the Gorgeous George Hotel. The bar has everything from signature cocktails, to age-old classics, both being meticulously crafted by their in-house mixologists. The restaurant serves a take on modern classics, but with a focus on seasonality and sustainability, think casual cuisine but with a twist! They believe knowing where our food comes from is as important as the food itself, with attention being placed on local, ethically-sourced produce from artisanal cheese, pasture-reared beef to fully-traceable and line-caught fish. The vibe is infectious, join for lunch, stay for dinner, with live music and DJ’s almost every day of the week. GiGi Rooftop is a living room for the neighbourhood and you’re invited.

    The service was outstanding from the moment we walked and greeted by the hostess who showed us to the roof top bar for a predinner drink, to the waiter who served us. What a great little find right in the center of the Cape Town CBD for drinks with a view from the rooftop bar to the quaint setting on the terrace for a delicious dinner. Recommended for something different.

    I found my new favourite rooftop in CPT! Our whole experience was an absolute 10/10 - from the aesthetics to the food & drinks, everything was simply exquisite! We tried the prawn risotto, potato flatbread & mussels - all the flavours were simply amazing and everything was so well prepared. The mocktails were also a huge hit! The super friendly staff went out of their way to welcome us and give us the best experience. Will definitely be back :)
