    It is always usually a very pleasant afternoon, and we have thoroughly enjoyed visiting in the past. Unfortunately, we have noticed a decline in service, something we observed during our previous visit, and which was even more evident this time. It’s unclear whether this is due to the automatic service charge being added, or the lack of allocated tables, where staff simply “help eachother out,” resulting in little accountability. Drinks took a long time to arrive and were served at the same time as the “welcome drink.” Not everyone received a welcome drink initially, and it took an additional 10 minutes before everyone was served. When we ordered extra ice, there was again a 15-minute wait, and the ice buckets were returned without tongs. We repeatedly had to search for waiters to order more drinks, and the same issue occurred when trying to settle the bill. Service was extremely hap hazard. Unless the service improves, you risk losing customers. Additionally, the music was extremely loud yesterday, which detracted from the overall experience. At around 4:15pm, another band began playing opposite the wine tasting centre, making it very distracting to hear two different bands at once. Surely there should be better coordination within Lourensford to prevent this from happening.
