Welcome to GOLD Restaurant where dining is a celebration of food, flavours, family and friends, accompanied by live entertainment. Come and celebrate with us.

While honouring African culinary traditions we combine these with modern flavours and techniques to serve up a sophisticated African feast that we change seasonally.

African food is traditionally shared and enjoyed with family and friends. Similarly, our 14-dish tasting menu is served in generous individual and shared portions. Each dish is brought to your table with country of origin, cooking techniques and spicing explained. All our Halaal-certified meat, poultry and fish dishes come with vegetarian or vegan substitutes. Please inform us of your dietary preferences when booking so that we can adjust accordingly.

Family is central to African culture and children are welcome. There is no dress code and were open 7 days a week. We welcome walk-ins when capacity allows but we cannot guarantee availability, so we urge you to pre-book.

    Had an amazing night, booked the drumming and was not disappointed. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the entertainment was great and fun. A very good night out for both old and young. Would highly recommend.

    The service is very good, but we were annoyed that they don't inform you that the use of the drums is charged. When we arrived, the drum was on each person's chair and they told us to use it during the show. After the bill came, it was charged R$320.00. I didn't think that was fair. One of the artists sits at your table to take a picture and only then asks for a tip, embarrassing us. And then we still have to pay the tip on top of the already high bill. We paid twice.

    This was such a fantastic night and food , entertainment and the staff were amazing . This is a night out for all ages and they engaged with the audience and now we all know how to drum . Just book it you will not regret it.

    This is my favorite restaurant. The service, entertainment and food are all extraordinary but it is Beatrice’s warmth that makes the entire experience one you will never forget.
