Located on the biodynamic Rozendal Farm and Vinagrier in Stellenbosch, Good to Gather is a convivial, intimate restaurant owned by husband-and-wife duo Luke Grant and Jess Shepherd. In summer, sit outside in the gorgeous courtyard under the oak trees, in colder months the dining takes place in the Vinegar Tasting Room warmed by a wood burning stove, with views of the cellar filled with the farms botanical infused red wine vinegars. The three course farm to table menu changes weekly, and incorporates seasonal ingredients locally sourced from small-scale farmers.

    Good to Gather is a truly wonderful experience. Authentic food and people - nothing pretentious here - just fantastic South African food in a beautiful setting. Well done Jess and Luke. We all loved it.

    This was surely one of the best experiences that I ever had, from the start to the finish! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the cheese soufflé! We will be back as soon as I can get a booking again!

    One of my favourite restaurants in the Winelands and surrounds! The food was perfect, the service super friendly and attentive and Luke is a wonderful host. We will be back as soon as we can secure a booking. Wish I could give 7 stars!
