Located on the biodynamic Rozendal Farm and Vinagrier in Stellenbosch, Good to Gather is a convivial, intimate restaurant owned by husband-and-wife duo Luke Grant and Jess Shepherd. In summer, sit outside in the gorgeous courtyard under the oak trees, in colder months the dining takes place in the Vinegar Tasting Room warmed by a wood burning stove, with views of the cellar filled with the farms botanical infused red wine vinegars. The three course farm to table menu changes weekly, and incorporates seasonal ingredients locally sourced from small-scale farmers.

    My visit to Good to Gather was an absolutely exceptional dining experience. The food was, without a doubt, the best I have tasted. Their service was so intuitive it felt as though they could read our minds. A special thanks to Jess, Luke, and the entire team, who made us feel so welcome and at home, as if we were part of their family. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and will certainly be looking for a future spot with my family and friends.

    My third visit and was amazing as always. A unique, honest celebration of the food and where is came from, expertly put together in the most mouth-watering, wholesome dishes! Totally delicious.

    Honestly, this experience was just perfect. It blew my socks off. The setting under the trees was so peaceful, tables nicely spaced apart, first class service, food was literally out of this world. I can't wait to make another booking ... and experience this all over again. Thank you so much Luke & Jess.
