    We had such a wonderful experience celebrating my husband’s birthday here. The traditional food was absolutely top-notch — full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and truly satisfying. What made the experience even more special was the personal attention from the owner. The way they welcomed us, listened to our needs, and made sure we were comfortable was incredibly inviting and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. A beautiful place with delicious food and exceptional hospitality. We will definitely be returning! ❤️

    Oxtail and trotters dishes were awesome. Malva pudding was great, not too rich. Would recommend this restaurant.

    The vibe of the place is warm and cosy! The food is a bit bland , the oxtail could have spent another 2 hrs in the pot, as it was rubbery and struggled to get of the bone! In the end of the day the two of us spent R1k on mediocre food in a cosy setting!

    Food, service and the restaurant itself was excellent. Owner came and chatted to us personally and made some recommendations on what is best. Highly recommend a visit here to experience South African cuisine

    We took friends to the restaurant and we all had a wonderful time - it was very busy but our waitress did well.
