Here at the Greek Fisherman, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so weve added a modern twist to our otherwise classic menu.

Our cuisine includes Greek & Seafood specialities and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Souvla (spit roast) and our stunning lamb in the oven. choose from over 20 Meze, starters and tapas!

The Greek Fisherman is now located in Sea Point, Cape Town. It was established in 1992 (originally at the V&A Waterfront), and is still owned, and run hands-on, by the same family.

Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy delicious seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals.

    Our favourite Greek restaurant in Cape Town with the best Greek food. Delicious juicy oven baked lamb shank dish, a definite must try, the meze is also amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just wish we had a Greek Fisherman in Joburg. Excellent service from the lovely Victor and Hopeson, thank you guys!

    We had a very very nice time. The food and staff where amazing. Will recommend and go back again. The coffee was also a big bonus. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    Usually, The Greek Fisherman consistently delivers high-quality food and service, which is why we're loyal customers. However, our recent visit didn't quite meet expectations. The lamb and chicken were dry, and the pita was hard. Despite this, the staff truly shone when we provided feedback. They offered to remake our dishes or provide complimentary coffees and Dom Pedros, demonstrating a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. This willingness to make things right shows that they value their loyal customers and are dedicated to providing an excellent experience. We'll definitely be back, hoping that they'll regain their usual standards.
