Here at the Greek Fisherman, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so weve added a modern twist to our otherwise classic menu.

Our cuisine includes Greek & Seafood specialities and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Souvla (spit roast) and our stunning lamb in the oven. choose from over 20 Meze, starters and tapas!

The Greek Fisherman is now located in Sea Point, Cape Town. It was established in 1992 (originally at the V&A Waterfront), and is still owned, and run hands-on, by the same family.

Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy delicious seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals.

    It was a wonderful experience, Everyone in the group enjoyed themselves. The roast lamb and the lamb chops were superb.

    Excellent and genuine Greek cuisine (from a fellow Greek). Roast lamb and lemon potatoes just like my mama used to make. I will go back just for the loukoumades.

    Honestly had zero complaints. The food was great, our waitress Theresa was so sweet. And it was a really great evening.

    The restaurant has a beautiful setting. Not something you would expect from walking past. The food was lovely, but the service was not great. In the beginning, our waitress started off being very attentive, and then after we finished our meal, we never saw her. We sat for a very long time with our empty plates in front of us and eventually we cleared our own plates and put them on an empty table next to us. Other than the service, we can't fault this restaurant.

    Really good authentic Greek food in a lovely, relaxed environment at decent prices. Fetameille and the Moussaka are two fabulous options.
