    Not happy about being charged R150 corkage for a bottle of sparkling wine which my husband opened, without any service from the waitress Thobile. Thobile's officious air in telling us that we were restricted to 1 corkage per 5 guests, was also offputting! This new rule should be on your website when you make a booking. In addition, the steaks that we ordered were totally over cooked and when they were sent back, the replacement steaks took far too long to arrive, which meant that 5 people had finished their meal before the remaining 2 received their meals. I have been a regular at Grimaldi's and will be looking around at other restaurants as this was not the best experience at Grimaldi's.

    We visited Grimaldi's on Valentine's Day and wanted to have a bottle of Snow Mountain Sparkling Wine which was unavailable on the day. However the service and food was excellent although we felt that the menu could be updated at some stage.
