The old stable, dated 1767, houses the recently restored restaurant, a charming blend of past and present. Features like the original stone floor and wooden mangers blend seamlessly with modern, comfortable furniture while historic photographs and bespoke blue Dutch tiles line the old walls.

Meals are also served outside on the grassed terrace which boasts a spectacular view of the Boland mountains and is surrounded by a neat, colourful garden. Dishes have been designed to complement the Groot Phesantekraal wines with generous flavours and modern flourishes.

    Fantastic!!! We had a very large group of about 35 people there, but that was no problem for the venue. Amazing food, amazing venue, amazing service and an amazing vibe - all the staff is really on the ball and very well organised by Anelle. Thank you, we will definitely be back!!
