Our venue lends itself to all types of functions and events. You have absolute free rein over theme, design, layout, menu, format, etc.

    Zero value for money. The picnic was moved indoors to the restaurant due to bad weather which I completely understand and have no issue with. However, what was disappointing was that no alternative picnic setup, décor, or special arrangement was provided to preserve the experience we had paid for. We paid approximately R1,680 for what ultimately amounted to an ordinary restaurant booking. We received a food box and a bottle of sparkling wine, which is priced at R1,100 at the restaurant. At that price, one could simply make a regular reservation at the restaurant and order items from the menu for considerably less, without paying the premium associated with the advertised picnic experience. The manager advised that they would contact me regarding the matter, but I have received no feedback or follow-up to date. Overall, a very disappointing experience and unfortunately, not worth the price paid.

    We attended the Winterfest at Babylonstoren, and it was an outstanding day from start to finish. The attention to detail throughout the experience was exceptional. The food was fresh, seasonal and beautifully prepared. We’re still talking about the lamb! The wines were, of course, excellent, and the service from Mampho was exceptional. Count us in for the next one — we can’t wait!

    Absolutely loved it! Such a stunning venue with a beautiful atmosphere. The picnic boxes were absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented with so much attention to detail. The barmen were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even better. It’s also a fantastic place to take kids—they have plenty of space to run around and play on the grass while the adults can relax. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
