The Guardian Peak Winery and Restaurant opened in December 2005, and since then, has been a popular destination in the winelands of Stellenbosch.

The focus of the a la carte menu is on serving unpretentious bistro style food with an emphasis on prime-quality steaks.

We only serve wines from our greater portfolio, and trust that you find the selection to your satisfaction.

    This is truly an outstanding restaurant in every sense. We have been here multiple times always with exceptional outcomes. Food is exquisite, service exemplary, staff so well trained in offering little bits of fascinating info. Highly attentive and hands-on management. The type of place one can go feeling totally relaxed knowing all is in excellent hands. Outstanding views. Very highly recommended.

We have been very satisfied with the services of the Guardian Peak Restaurant for years. This was also confirmed by our guests, who particularly praised the excellent food, the great service, and the extraordinary view of the valley and the Helderberg. We will certainly have lunch there again on our next wine tasting tour in the area.

    The menu lacked any true flair or creativity, our waiters did not take a main order for 30 minutes and our starters were served cold(Fried Halloumi sticks) and where underwhelming for the price.
