    We probably had greater expectations based on reviews. However, we were a bit disappointed. The ambience is nice, service was great, but food was much below expectations. We waited for our order for more than an hour and the restaurant was not even half full. Maybe it was a bad day : )

    Really wish the projector water screen was working - hopefully next time I visit it will be working hey but loved I think Vincent the waiter he was the best !

    The Calamari starters both grilled and fried had sand in, The wine we ordered by the glass was definitely not Klein Constantia and tasted as if it had been diluted. The Salmon and beetroot salad arrived after everybody finished their starters and this salad also had sand in and tasteless, it only had 4 tiny slivers of salmon. The fillet was great and the dessert was fantastic

    The service was incredibly slow, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant and staff outnumbering us 2-to-1. Otherwise, the food was good, when it arrived.

    We recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary at Harbour House, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was absolutely magnificent—beautiful, relaxing, and the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The food was outstanding, with every dish prepared to perfection and full of flavour. A special mention goes to our waiter, who provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. To top it all off, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert and two glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more memorable. Thank you, Harbour House, for making our first anniversary so special. We can’t wait to return!

    We arrived early on a Saturday evening for the Winter Special, to learn that it was only valid for weekdays. We decided to eat there anyway. Only two other tables were occupied, yet I had to ask someone to come and take our wine order. I also had to find someone to take our meal order - not a good start. The lamb rump we both ordered was quite delicious and cooked perfectly, to order. Fries were a bit disappointing as was side veg. We enjoyed some great wine by the glass. I then had to find someone to bring us our bill........... We'll give the Winter Special another try during the week

    I went there on Father's day, the restaurant was empty, only 1 manager and 1 waitress on duty , both they didnt know the menu/the drinks,... very disapointing.

    We had a great time. Visiting South Africa from the Uk for the first time. The service and food were top quality. I tried kingclip. Never heard of it before, but it was marvellous. Lisa, our server, was truly great. So friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
