    So called owner , kicks us off our table while we still eating ….once confronted he goes on to says he is the owner , he can do as he likes …definitely not the way to treat customers ….

    While the music was great, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of the arrangements on the evening. Unfortunately, the table layout and overall setup were not satisfactory. Our table was positioned right against the corner, leaving very little space for guests to move in and out comfortably. ALMOST NO SPACE. This made it quite difficult for everyone to access their seats. In addition, the area designated for the cake and backdrop was extremely cramped. There was barely enough space for the birthday lady to stand there, and the other end was completely blocked. I had to ask the manager to move people away so that we could access the space, but this took a considerable amount of time. In the end, our own guests had to assist in moving the tables around just so that we could sit down. For such a large booking, I would have expected more thought to be given to accessibility and the flow of guests. It also very disappointing to hear all the complaints from my guests this morning. The service was also disappointing. We waited approximately 15 minutes just to receive plates for the cake. Another 15 minutes just to get the drinks brought to the table. When I arrived, and thankfully I was the first to do so, there was no guest list available, and I was immediately asked to make payment. Earlier that day I had called and spoken to Annabel, and I also sent through an updated guest list. However, it appeared that none of this had been organised, and the staff member at the entrance seemed very confused about the arrangements. I don't even know if my guests were asked to pay their entrance, which is extremely worrying. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service and I would definitely not be recommended Harry James to be used for large groups.
