    What a special place. We had a wonderful dinner on the front terrace. Everything was prepared and presented perfectly, and our server Neal was charming and efficient. I've seen it mentioned before, and it was absolutely true - the servings are very generous! I pride myself on finishing everything on my plate but this time I was beaten and ended up having to leave some delicious ostrich. So make sure you either go hungry or skip a course if your appetite isn't huge.

    Lovely food in Helena's, with excellent wine, and deft and professional service from our waiter, Sbosh, who helped us choose well. Would definitely recommend. But I might think about changing the flocked wallpaper if I were management!

    What a lovely experience we had at Helena's Restaurant. With friendly staff and quick service. The food was delicious and the menu had wonderful options to choose from. Definitely a 10/10 experience and will be back again to try more dishes.

    This place is amazing. The food is wonderful and the staff very friendly. We have been coming to Stellenbosch for over 10 years and this is our favourite restaurant in town. Last night we both had the neck of lamb and the coconut panna cotta - delicious!
