Walking into Henri’s, you’ll be greeted by the owner, Pierre and his staff, who will treat you like guests in our own home.

Henri’s combines an inspired menu with a casually sophisticated setting in a heritage house conveniently situated on Somerset West Main Road. We also welcome larger groups, our top floor has been renovated and can be used for private functions. Our inviting, comfortable dining room is the perfect place to enjoy a great meal.

Our menu can be described as comfort food with a modern global influence. We are well known for our aged grass-fed beef as well as the freshest local seafood. Alongside our à la carte menu, we offer a light lunch menu during the day and also have a kiddies menu. We also serve homemade, thin based pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

You can enjoy a drink on our patio or at our beautiful bar, we offer a wide selection of craft and imported beers. The wine list offers a variety of wine by the glass, but patrons are welcome to bring their own wine, as we don’t charge corkage for tables of less than 8 guests. Thereafter corkage of R45 per 750ml bottle applies.

    We had Cape Salmon (Line fish of the day) and Slow roasted deboned lamb neck for mains, and beef carpaccio for starters. Excellent! The service was also really excellent! Well worth the visit!

    We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve dinner very much. We had best ever spare rips with chips in town.. mouthwatering, delicious, smooth 🤪🤪 Creme Brûlée & apple pie with vanilla ice cream! Henri’s always nice 🤩 and the service people are friendly, perfect and attentive! We recommend it much 👍 We wish you and the service team a very successful New Year 2026 with always nice guests🙏
