Walking into Henri’s, you’ll be greeted by the owner, Pierre and his staff, who will treat you like guests in our own home.

Henri’s combines an inspired menu with a casually sophisticated setting in a heritage house conveniently situated on Somerset West Main Road. We also welcome larger groups, our top floor has been renovated and can be used for private functions. Our inviting, comfortable dining room is the perfect place to enjoy a great meal.

Our menu can be described as comfort food with a modern global influence. We are well known for our aged grass-fed beef as well as the freshest local seafood. Alongside our à la carte menu, we offer a light lunch menu during the day and also have a kiddies menu. We also serve homemade, thin based pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

You can enjoy a drink on our patio or at our beautiful bar, we offer a wide selection of craft and imported beers. The wine list offers a variety of wine by the glass, but patrons are welcome to bring their own wine, as we don’t charge corkage for tables of less than 8 guests. Thereafter corkage of R45 per 750ml bottle applies.

    From arrival to leaving we were well taken care of. Food portions are more than enough and such that it compares equal to the best. In my experidnce Henri's is well deserving of at least one Michelin ⭐️ Presentation, taste, smbiance & service is all there. We had a fabulous time thanks to Henri's Restaurant and our friends from UK, Scotland (one, a chef) were equally impressed.

    The food we had was amazing. I had the mussels, which were big and juicy and the sauce was just the best. The others in our group had lamb. They raved. Our waitress was attentive, super friendly and had a very good knowledge of what was available,, which dishes were popular and why. We will be back. thank you.
