    This is the second time we have been to the Oyster Box. I particularly wanted to return as our first experience was so good. We absolutely loved it! The best high tea we have ever had anywhere. Amazing good, first class staff. Special thanks to the Duty Manager, who hopefully will have been promoted when we next visit as he was so professional and friendly and Rajid, who we met on our last visit. We had a wonderful afternoon.

    While the ambience was excellent and the service was good, the food was way below par. I have been to the Oyster Box for high tea previously and thoroughly enjoyed each occasion. This time was just not special - it may have been a shortage of staff but there was not sufficient personal attention, one of the managers was very clumsy and kept dropping cutlery on our table and on the floor. I was also very disappointed in the food: there was insufficient items, particularly on the savoury side and the sushi was not properly rolled. For 495 a person plus a 10% service charge (the latter charge was a surprise), it is just not worth it.

    It was the first high tea at the Oyster Box and it definitely exceeded all my expectations. Everything was just absolutely amazing. The assortment of food, drinks, music and decor. The staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend this as a treat

    Such a lovely experience. I would have liked a selection of sandwiches , but honestly there was so much lovely food , savoury and sweet , we throughly enjoyed the whole experience! Thank you to the Oyster Box the staff Alamein our one guest who is totally blind so comfortable and looking after his needs . Thank you Graeme Pattinson

    I have been coming for the High Tea for nearly 50 years, the last few at least twice a year. While the food maintains its level, there is no doubt that standards and service and management have slipped significantly. For example my wife wanted to get some cheese and there were no cheese knives or tongs. Much of the time there was no one at all on the floor. There were obvious signs of cost cutting. Please get back to the standards you used to have.
