Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. We offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, local and worldly flavours.

The Restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt decided to open his dream restaurant in Cape Town: Homespun by Matt.

    Great food and service with excellent choice of wines by the glass including some great South African boutique wine makers. Presentation of the food is exemplary as are the detailed explanations. Try the electric daisy option - quite an experience.

    We once again had the most amazing dining experience at Homespun. Matt and his staff are absolute magicians with ingredients and everything tasted sublime. Thank you for spoiling us and we will be back soon
