Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. We offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, local and worldly flavours.

The Restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt decided to open his dream restaurant in Cape Town: Homespun by Matt.

    We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Homespun by Matt in Blouberg last night, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and the team made our evening feel extra special. Huge thanks for an unforgettable experience—highly recommend! 🎉👏

    Every time we visit South Africa Homespun is a must. Interesting food of top quality at a good price. Service is always spot on. Latest visit met expectations although it would be nice to have a slightly wider range of options. He most unassuming of facades opens into a wonderland of great food. Try it!

    We spent a beautiful evening and deeply enjoyed our food. Service was fantastic. Each meal was well balanced and the main course of the tasting menu was substantial enough that you leave with a full belly and a smile on your face!
