They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Hudsons burger - and that right there is the epitome of happiness.

The freshly baked golden bun with just the right amount of crisp outside and pillowy softness inside; don't underestimate the power of two really good buns, we certainly don't.

If you know us, we don't take life too seriously - we stay up too late, we play the music too loud and wear our jeans a little tighter than they should be. When it comes to our burgers though, it's serious business. We want to make sure that every last bite smacks you through the face with a big whack of happiness.

Thanks to our juicy, perfectly seasoned, sizzled, griddled and charred free-range beef patties, cradled oh-so-gently in-between those aforementioned bronzed buns and draped in our world-famous sauces with generous toppings, each mouthful is simply glorious.

    Waited 45 minutes for our order to arrive due to mix up in kitchen only to receive the burger patties cold. Not a great experience

    First time at the legendary burger joint. (I know...) Loved the food - the plant-based burgers are amazing. The only thing better than the food was the service, just the right balance of being there when needed and then leaving us to enjoy the experience. The decor and location and atmosphere outside were very cool. The only reason I rate ambiance as two stars not five is because of people smoking at tables next to us. It has been a very long time since I had to endure the putrid stale stench of cigarette smoke while enjoying fresh flavourful food. Many restaurants have banned this self-destructive habit which is also a danger to others and I hope that Hudsons will consider doing so too. Not only did the one smoker not use an ashtray and dump ash and butts on the ground, he also did not eat - just had a beer. The other smoker only had the side of fries. Maybe you will lose some revenue from smokers, but for their own sake and the sake of your other patrons it is the right thing to do.

    We had exceptional service from the young lady who served us and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend Hudson’s.

    My friends and I had a wonderful time at Hudsons - we had drinks to celebrate my book launch, and we had a wonderful time! Our waitress was lovely, friendly and really looked after us. Will definitely come back again!
