They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Hudsons burger - and that right there is the epitome of happiness.

The freshly baked golden bun with just the right amount of crisp outside and pillowy softness inside; don't underestimate the power of two really good buns, we certainly don't.

If you know us, we don't take life too seriously - we stay up too late, we play the music too loud and wear our jeans a little tighter than they should be. When it comes to our burgers though, it's serious business. We want to make sure that every last bite smacks you through the face with a big whack of happiness.

Thanks to our juicy, perfectly seasoned, sizzled, griddled and charred free-range beef patties, cradled oh-so-gently in-between those aforementioned bronzed buns and draped in our world-famous sauces with generous toppings, each mouthful is simply glorious.

    Jemma was fantastic. She informed me that a few boys (Grade 8s) were being silly about what they were ordering (extra starters etc.). We were able to stop the silliness.

    Repeat drink orders took long and sometimes had to be asked for again. Cocktails were also very weakly made, mostly ice and garnish. The amount of truffle cheese sauce on the fries has become shockingly little, especially considering the price of this menu item (truffle cheese fries) has gone up by R20! All in all, good food but not value for money as you are paying more to get less.
